Atomic Habits James Clear

Rating 4.8/5 It's already a recommended book everywhere so I'm not sure why you need to read another review about it but here's my take anyway. I love that the book gives clear summary of whatever it's trying to impart to you for forming habits. By the end of the book, you will see them reiterate the 4 Laws so much that it will be imprinted into your mind. (Though you can also easily forget about it after awhile especially if you don't practice it. So I do recommend that you keep the 4 laws written somewhere.) Suggestions are actionable and it does seem like it would work. Stories are a bit long winded. some examples seem to have cross over into different laws making it a little boring. Also, this book is very research heavy. lots of references at the end. And the way they actually have a website and they advertise on the book. No wonder this book is so widely known and recommended read. I'll also recommend you to reread the book since reading it one time m...

Understanding our muscles by Lucy Beevor

Rating: 3/5 (Good introductory reference) If you're looking for an easy, highly visual entry point into human anatomy, this is a solid pick. It keeps things simple and relies heavily on diagrams and pictures rather than dense scientific text.

Project management for the unofficial project manger (Updated and Revised edition) Kory Kogon | Suzette Blakemore

Rating 4 out of 5 I finally finished this! It’s a very practical, digestible guide for anyone who finds themselves managing projects without having "Project Manager" in their official job title. While I’ve wrapped it up, it’s definitely a book I’ll keep on my shelf to reread specific sections as needed.

Project Management for Everyday Life John L. Howard

Rating: 3 out of 5 I finished a pretty short book that has 56 pages for month of March cause I'm busy watching drama, dancing and trying to rest early. I thought I'll find something to read to brush up in organising my life but this book feels like a waste of my time cause a lot of words are wasted in reiterating similar points.  But as someone who does project management, I think it does motivate me to do better with the refresh of methods which I have come across in. It's might get messy from here onwards but below are just some key takeaway from the book.

Die with Zero by Bill Perkins

Rating: 4 out of 5. Good read and I strongly recommend that you read it. First book I finish reading in 2026 Going through this 1 book took me close to a week. Apparently reading a non fiction / informative book will take so much longer cause there are many concept to absorb unlike a fictional book. Really like the concept that is in the book but there are too many examples given that make it feel like it is really long winded. (Following the 20/80 rule :O) As a salaried worker who basically trades her time for money, this book made me rethink on how I should actually spend the money I've slaved for.  Anyway below are some of the points I got from reading the book.
