Month of JEW-LIE

I'm late for the review! But no one cares! Lets get straight to the point. 1. Drink at least 1.5L Water each day. 29/31. Two days I didn't drink enough I'm assuming weekend since I'm not always with my bottle on weekend. 2. Start the day by 7.30AM 10/31. It's really hard even though I have an alarm ringing at 7.15am. I think that's because I sleep too late and don't feel like I've slept enough to wake up.  I'm trying to adjust to start sleeping before 12 but it doesn't seem like it is possible :O 3. Reach work by 8.30AM 0/31. This is really hard to change la.  I mean... no one is pressurizing me to change. Just that I thought maybe going earlier is bettter. But FML thats not really happening. 4. Spend at least 5 minute to stretch everyday by myself 17/31. I kinda stopped stretching on the last week of July cause my body is too tired and I don't have enough time to do what I want to do. I just realised that the table I made is not very compatible with my website as it could barely be seen as it could not fit within the page. So I'll just summarized my goals and how many days I managed to do what I say I would.   Summary for the month of May:  1. Drink 1.5L water: Very good! 25 out of 31 days! and most of them are on weekends.  It's better than April by 3 days so hopefully I could achieve every day in the future. 2. Start the day at 7.30 or Reach office at 8.30AM.  I think for this goal, is quite hard for me especially with so many holidays in May that cause me to have lack of sleep. I only achieve 5/31 days. I'll do better in the month of June! It's only the first week and I have 3 days where I start at 7.30 or earlier. I'm thinking if I should break this goal into two but judging by the performance from the previous months, I seems like reaching office at 8.30AM is a problem for me even if I start the day early. I drafted this post on 30 April I was thinking to spend time after to think of how I plan to finish writing everything whether it should be a goal review + summary or just a normal post.  But I didn't.  So here it goes. ;    April has been an eventful month.  The studio that I’ve been going to for fitness is closed as they need to relocate. Didn’t feel like there were any other studios I wanted to try so I decided to host my closest classmate to do fitness together in my house weekly until the studio reopens.  I’m pretty bad at hosting but I think it gets better over time.  Anyway I’ve also been exploring Pilates while the studio is closed. Really enjoyed doing reformer pilates!  Then, I went on a vacation with a group of friends for the first time.  6 days away and goals are thrown out of the window for the 6 days. 😮 I did pack my bag every day though so that I don’t bring too many unnecessary things out when I am out and about. Last Goal Review of 2019.

2 days more till the new year !  And it is time for a goal review!  The goals which I have set for myself at the start of the year are as follows ; 1.Plan a short trip / staycation with my partner before May this year 2. 每个月要主动带伴侣出门一次  3. Practice the music sheet from Lindsey and be able to play it well by April 2019 Apparently, I have gave up all my goals before the end of the year because 1. My partner doesn't want us to spend money on short trip / staycation 2. I'm going out w my partner almost every day for dinner that planning one every month to somewhere special is making us feel tired. especially when we also have other commitments. Eg: friends, family & interest group.  I only gave up on this goal after August so I completed at least 50% of my goal But I would say that even if I have not completed 100%, I have already achieved the results that I wanted.  3. Goal review 8

Goal for the year : To bring partner out for a date on my own accord monthly I initially thought that it would be quite easy since there are at 28 or more days in a month. But I guess it is still quite a challenge as I have to work even on Saturdays. Dinner dates seems to be the most convenient for me. However, my partner usually end work earlier than me. So partner will end up buying food back for us / initiate our dinner location.  As I have to work half day on Saturdays, the moment I reach home after work, I don't want to leave the house anymore.  On certain weekends, I'll also meet my friends out together with partner. Hence we couldn't have our date together. Ultimately,  it seems like I'm getting back to my lazy days. Month of September, I didn't initiate any dates with my partner. My partner did initiate one though (Many if you include dinner dates) The rest of the time, I initiated going out w my family & friends. But we will...

Goal Review 7

Goal for the year: To bring my partner out for a date monthly. As I mentioned on Goal Review 5/6, I did not go out on a date with my partner on July hence failing the goal. What I did however is to bring my partner out on 2 dates on August. Had a dinner date as usual. At Bugis plus after work! We had curry rice at CoCo Ichibanya I think the food there is not bad! My partner didn't really like the place as the table is a little bit too small.  After dinner, we went to shop at uniqlo! Bought a few shirt for my partner <3 (Oh but the shirts are still inside the plastic bag beside the wardrobe.) Next, we went to Tampines iSteaks for dinner on Saturday. We reached the place at around 5.45 to have early dinner. Thankfully, the dinner crowd have not arrived yet otherwise we would have been stuck outside queuing. Food is awesome as usual. Phone plans!

Disclaimer : This post is badly written cause I just wanted to write about phone plans lol. Earlier today, M1 made a big change! it replaced all of its mobile plans with only 2 base plans. 1 SIM only plan and the other is comes with handset. I actually don't want to spend much on phone / phone number hence, I'm only looking at the SIM only plan.  It's $25/Month for 30GB, *1000Mins + 1000 SMS*, Free flow weekend data, Free caller ID, unlimited free calls to 3 M1 numbers and unlimited music streaming on Spotify Looks really worth it! I mean after all most plans out there are offering 200minutes + 200 smses. But wait! It doesn't indicate free incoming and that's probably why they give you 1000mins + 1000 sms So if you need to call / answer the phone a lot, then it is probably not very worth for you to get this plan. However 30GB.. That's really a lot of data! You can switch to using whatsapp for calls if there isn't enough talktime. Thi...

2019 Goals Review 4

3 goals set as my 2019 New Year resolution set using the SMART method Only one remain as of today The one remain is  1. 每个月要主动带伴侣出门一次 (to bring my partner out for a date monthly) Previously when I started this goal, I did plan to not only have a dinner date but many different activities. But then after the Labrador park date (February date) Our date can only happen indoors as my partner is heat sensitive So, the rest of the dates are just going to be dinner dates xD
