2019 Goals Review 4

3 goals set as my 2019 New Year resolution set using the SMART method
Only one remain as of today

The one remain is
1. 每个月要主动带伴侣出门一次
(to bring my partner out for a date monthly)

Previously when I started this goal,
I did plan to not only have a dinner date but many different activities.
But then after the Labrador park date (February date)
Our date can only happen indoors as my partner is heat sensitive

So, the rest of the dates are just going to be dinner dates xD

For the month of April,
I actually didn't plan any date in advance.
I can't remember what I was busy with / maybe I'm just too tired to do it
So it was an impromptu dinner date which we decided to go on Good Friday
Searched the Internet for Japanese buffet cause I am really craving for some Japanese food that day.
and we end up deciding to Kushi @ Thomson
Saw that we could reserve a table on HungryGoWhere
So I went ahead and just reserve it.
(So far the places which we go to, I didn't do any reservation for the place.. We just walked in)

When we reached the place,
The place is packed with people (It's a PH!)
The person asked if we had a reservation.
Which my partner thought we didn't as I was just lazing around after that.
Luckily we did otherwise I don't think we will ever get to eat.

Kushi Japanese Dining
Place looked really neat and clean (Just that it is packed with people?)
There are only 2 vacant tables which are reserved by people. 1 by us and the other not yet arrived.

It feels like they are short of staff that day as service is really slow.
What I can't believe is that they are still using the traditional way of taking orders!
They should invest on a tablet for order placing.

They have 2 types of buffet menu.
Classic and the premium.
We just had the classic as we feel that it is not worth to get the premium

Waited for a long time for food to be served.
Food isn't very fantastic.
Some food are nice while some food don't taste really good.
Sashimi cuts are too thick
But we still eat our full anyway.

Place closes at 10. Last order is at 9.30pm which the staff went to all the table to ask them if they want any last order.
I came at 7.45. Waited till around 8.30 for my first order to fully arrive.(Not sure cause I don't even remember what I ordered.
Then have sometime to eat, order for the second time.
At 9.30pm. Food haven't been fully served and they asking me for last order ._.

So we ordered more
(otherwise there is no more chance to order and that is how we ended up being so full)
End up we couldn't finish the sashimi.
I think the cuts are really too thick that I can't stand it anymore.
and we had to cancel some order as well.

Due to the PH and shortages of staff, they are unable to close on time.
Some of the customers left without even waiting for their food to be fully served.
(I mean anything for us to track what has been ordered and what has been served, we really can't remember what we ordered and what is coming.)

Anyway, we were too full to do anything else so we just went back home to rest after that.
Looks like I got to start doing some exercise to keep in shape (Round is a shape too)

Overall,
  1. Food took a long time to be served
  2. Not all the food taste nice
  3. Sashimi cuts are too thick
  4. No way of tracking what has been ordered & served
  5. Need to wait a long time to order food as there is only one person taking orders.
Service : 3/5
Food : 2.5/5
Waiting time : 1/5
Atmosphere : 3/5
Value for money : 3.5/5
Overall : 2.6/5
