2026 Goal Review 3

Looking at my goals, I think they are all quite unrealistic for my lifestyle.
I want it to happen but it's not really happening because of how packed I squeeze my schedule and how I can't bear to sleep knowing that I haven't achieve what I wanted to do for the day.

List of Goals:

1. Have lighter dinner & eat before 8PM

2. Sleep before 11PM after finishing my night routine.

3. Have breakfast

4. Sort out my digital & physical data & make it accessible

5. Read 1 self learning / improvement book every month

Unrealistic goals I'm going to strike off cause I find it IMPOSSIBLE TO FORCE MYSELF TO DO.
  • Sleep before 11PM after finishing my night routine
While I've been sleeping earlier on most days at timings between 12AM-1AM, some days I relapse and sleep later than 1AM but earlier than 2AM.
Still a win but really no point to force myself to do this goal knowing that I couldn't.

But I'll try my best to always sleep between 12AM-1AM instead.

  • Have breakfast.
I don't wake up early enough to have breakfast so Imma just remove this as a goal. It's unrealistic and super unlikely for it to become a regular. I only managed to do it on the weekend and that's because I don't need to rush to get to work.
Goals Review
  • Have light dinner and eat before 8PM.
Honestly, it's a bit hard on days I have 6.45PM class and I didn't prepare a sandwich.
I did prepare last week but not for this week so I ended up eating late on those days.
But I had really light dinner so I guess you can say that I at least accomplished half of my goals every day. But I still eat earlier than previously because I decided that I should just eat near the studio before going home instead of buying back to eat at home.
At least I can still digest the food while going back home.

I'm not sure whether it's the effect of me eating earlier and having a lighter dinner. I have a friend who told me that I've slimmed down! Which is really good cause that's the effect I want.

  • Sort out my digital and physical data and make it accessible.
FML I think I need to do something about this goal because it's floaty. It's too wide and I actually didn't give a timeline for this.

Too wide and requires too much time.
I'll give myself a year to see to what extent I can make it easily accessible and usable.

Currently;
I have made my work overview available on google sheet so that it is easy to refer to regardless which device I am using.
Then I have cleared out a little bit of my desktop space. I'm supposed to have done it but I haven't cause it's really easy for documents to pile up in my desktop.

Also, I'm in the middle of getting rid of the papers that have been stagnant on my table for a really long time.

Anyway, I've decided that for the month of April, I would be physical and try to get rid of the paper mess I have be it at work or at home.

- Sort out the papers on my desk.
- Recycle those papers that can be recycled. (Put away from my table)
- Shed and throw those that cannot be recycled due to sensitive information.
- Scan and file those that I may need but don't need to refer to them frequently.

  • Read 1 self learning / improvement book every month
I've already posted about the book I've read in the month of March titled Project Management for Everyday Life
So I'm not going to yap about this goal further. since it has been accomplished.
Changes to my goals after review.
  • Sleep between 12AM - 1AM every day.
  • Eat a light dinner every day. Aim to eat before 8PM (else eat even lighter)
  • Sort out my digital and physical data and make it accessible.
    • For the month of April, sort out my physical data (papers) and make it accessible on the computer if need to.
  • Read 1 self learning / improvement book every month
