New layout and updates
Wooo!
Blogger mobile app have a new layout ( from a few months ago )
And I think it looked so much better than the previous one.
Didn't explore much of the app yet.
I'm just submitting blog posts only.
Let's move on to my life cause you know, I haven't really tried exploring the app hence I got nothing to talk about it.
Now that I switch job, I have to wake up earlier as the working hours 8.30am-5.30pm instead of 9am-6pm
I used to think 30minute isn't a very long time... But it actually is !
Now I reach home at 6pm and is able to finish showering eating (take away at home / nearby home) and playing royal chaos by 9+ 10!
I will even have time to blog every day if I don't spend them on going out to inconvenient places to have dinner / hanging out with friends and family.
But well, spending time with friends and family is important so you guys just got to wait for my update. (I'm pretty sure nobody really reads my lengthy posts anyway)
Back to talking about my new job....
Working here is awesome except that I don't really have people to talk to due to the age gap.
Office is really quiet. Nobody plays music out loud but that is fine. I can always listen to music using ear piece.
During lunch, I go with my colleagues to eat.
But there isn't much for us to talk about so the conversation will only last for awhile while we sit down and finish our food and drinks in silence. / I will listen to them chit chat / talk about work while playing royal chaos
There is an IT deparement here which means that I cant install any other programs on the computer as I do not have the administrator rights.
This means I can't use my mouse macro / key for my convenience and I also can't use my preferred PDF editor.
There is a software request form but they have rejected my request for it. It is fine. I just need to learn how to work without all this.
Although I feel down because of whatever I can't do, but I'm really impressed that they have NAS system and they are using separate computer for AutoCAD and Microsoft project which means that I have to move my butt to the other computer if I need to use the various softwares
Having a NAS system is something which I asked my previous company IT guy to do (before he left the company) but the idea was not approved by the management.
Now I can still access my files although I hopped to another computer. The system will also let me know if someone already open that file. 👍👍👍
People here are more towards less talk and more work. They really put in their best to work during work hours and leave on time everyday.
I'm a procrastinator so I tend to procrastinate on task. But seeing how they work, I tell myself to complete every given task as soon as possible.
Also , I realised that I really don't pay attention to the small details and tend to need to redo / edit the file.
I will need to pay more attention to things and hopefully pick it up.
